  • Postdoctoral researcher
  • Introduction
  • Wei Shi received his Ph.D. in Engineering from Nagoya University in 2026 under the supervision of Prof. Atsushi Satsuma and Prof. Akira Oda. His doctoral research focused on the design of zeolite-encapsulated metal nanoparticle catalysts through the control of active metal sites and local zeolite environments for methylcyclohexane dehydrogenation and CO2 hydrogenation. He then joined Prof. Toru Murayama’s group as a postdoctoral researcher, continuing his collaboration with Prof. Akira Oda. His current research focuses on the rational design and precise engineering of novel metal@zeolite catalysts for efficient dehydrogenation and hydrogenation reactions.
