  • Introduction
  • Toru Murayama received his Ph.D. in engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology at 2015. Then he moved to Catalysis Research Center, Hokkaido University as an assistant professor of Prof. Ueda. In 2015, he moved to Research Center for Gold Chemistry, Tokyo Metropolitan University as a project associate professor and joined Prof. Haruta’s group. Then he became a project professor at the same University. From 2017 to 2020, he was a Director of Research Center for Gold Chemistry. Also, from 2015 he is a one of director of Haruta Gold Inc, a company based on research at Tokyo Metropolitan University. Then, in 2024, he moved to Institute of Catalysis, Hokkaido University as professor.

    His research interests are in nanoparticulate gold catalysts and complex metal catalysts for environmental pollution and industrial process for saving-energy.
